Terms
Last updated 17 October 2026
These terms cover the Printable Pilot app, the free listing score, the Trends page and the weekly email. By creating an account or starting a subscription, you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.
If you're a consumer in the UK, nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights.
1. Who we are
Printable Pilot is run by Caroline Morrison, a sole trader trading as "Printable Pilot" in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Contact: support@printablepilot.com. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Printable Pilot" mean that business, and "you" means the person using it.
2. What Printable Pilot does
Printable Pilot is an online tool for people who sell digital downloads, such as printables, planners, SVGs and templates. It has four tools: Niche Research, Product Ideas with ready-to-use prompts, a Listing Scorer, and a Pinterest Pin Writer. Results are saved to your History and can be downloaded as PDFs.
Printable Pilot doesn't make your products, and it doesn't connect to or change your Etsy shop.
3. Your account
You need an account to use the app. You must be at least 18, and give a real email address you can access. Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
One account is for one person. Please don't share it.
4. The free trial
New customers get a 3-day free trial. You'll need to add a payment card to start it, but you won't be charged during the trial.
Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically on day 4 and your card is charged for the plan you chose. We show the date your trial ends in your account.
The trial includes up to 6 research runs (Niche Research and Product Ideas), up to 10 Listing Scorer and Pin Writer runs a day, and up to 15 runs in total.
There's one free trial per customer. If you've subscribed before, your subscription starts and is charged straight away.
5. Plans, prices and payment
Printable Pilot costs £9.99 a month or £79 a year, unless a different price is shown when you subscribe. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and we charge your card on the renewal date, until you cancel.
Discount codes apply as described when they're offered. The FOUNDERS launch code takes 20% off for life, so £7.99 a month or £63.20 a year. Ends 31 October 2026.
If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. If it still can't be taken, your access may be paused until it's paid.
6. Usage limits
Each tool run costs us money to provide, so plans have limits:
- Up to 40 research runs (Niche Research and Product Ideas) per calendar month.
- Up to 15 Listing Scorer and Pin Writer runs per day.
The app shows how many runs you have left. Unused runs don't carry over. If a run fails because of a problem on our side, it doesn't count.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account: open the account menu and choose to manage your subscription. You can also email support@printablepilot.com and we'll cancel it for you.
When you cancel, your subscription won't renew. You keep full access until the end of the trial or the period you've already paid for, and then it stops. You can change your mind before then and keep your subscription.
8. Your right to cancel and refunds
If you're a consumer, UK law gives you 14 days from the day your subscription is first paid for to cancel and get a refund, without giving a reason. Because Printable Pilot starts working straight away at your request, the refund may be reduced to cover the part of the service you've already used in that period.
To use this right, email support@printablepilot.com with your account email. We'll refund you within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
Apart from that, and from any case where the law says you're owed a refund, we don't give refunds for part of a month or year. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
If something goes wrong with the service, please tell us. We'll try to put it right, and we'll consider a refund where that's fair.
9. Changes to prices and the service
We may change our prices. If we do, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
We're always improving Printable Pilot, so tools and features may change. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you, and you can cancel and get a refund for any period you've paid for but not used.
If we ever close Printable Pilot, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any period you've paid for but won't be able to use.
10. Results are suggestions, not guarantees
Printable Pilot's results are written by an AI model (Claude, made by Anthropic), using figures from Etsy's API and web search. They're ideas to help you decide. They aren't promises of sales, search rankings or earnings, and they can sometimes be wrong or out of date. Check anything important before you rely on it.
Etsy figures are a snapshot from when you ran the tool and are refreshed after at most 6 hours.
11. Using Printable Pilot fairly
Please don't:
- use it to copy other sellers' designs, listings or brands, or to infringe anyone's copyright or trademarks
- use it for anything illegal, or to make misleading listings
- try to get around the usage limits, scrape or resell results in bulk, or access the app by automated means
- try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service
You're responsible for what you make and list, including following the rules of any marketplace you sell on, such as Etsy's Creativity Standards and its rules on disclosing AI use.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Where it's fair to, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund any period you've paid for but not used.
12. Your content and results
What you type into Printable Pilot is yours, and so are the results it gives you. You can use them however you like, including in products you sell. Because results are AI-generated, other users may sometimes get similar ideas, so we can't promise they're unique to you.
You give us permission to process what you type only to run the tools for you, save your History and keep the service working. We don't use it for anything else. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
The Printable Pilot app, website, name and logo belong to us.
13. Free tools and the weekly email
The free listing score is limited to one per person per day, and its results follow section 10. The Trends page and the weekly email are general information, not personal advice. You can unsubscribe from the weekly email at any time using the link in every email.
Some links on our site and in our emails are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
14. Not affiliated with Etsy
The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy. Etsy, Inc. and its affiliates do not provide Printable Pilot and make no warranties of any kind about it.
15. Our responsibility to you
We'll provide Printable Pilot with reasonable care and skill. We aim to keep it running all the time, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance or because a provider we rely on has a problem.
If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care, we're responsible for losses you suffer that were a foreseeable result. We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable.
If you use Printable Pilot for your business, we aren't responsible for lost profits, lost sales or business interruption, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the problem.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
16. Closing your account
You can delete items from your History at any time. To close your account completely, cancel your subscription and email support@printablepilot.com. We'll delete your account and History, except for anything we have to keep by law, such as payment records.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. If a change affects you significantly, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
18. Complaints and the law
If you have a problem, email support@printablepilot.com and we'll do our best to sort it out.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections the law of the part of the UK where you live gives you, and you can bring a claim in the courts of Scotland or of the part of the UK where you live.
